"The shoe takes its cues from the vibe of vintage tech trail shoes. Layered paneling, chunky exterior
hardware detailing, and mixed materials all feel like vintage tech, which for me creates a feeling of nostalgic affection. This, however, is balanced well with modern construction, fabrics, and silhouette. 

The feeling I get from rugged trail shoes gives me the mood of early memories of hiking around the
British Columbia Coastal Mountains: Hollyburn, Cypress, and Whistler, when I was growing up. Salomon was an exotic, aspirational brand and the gear was always coveted.

The shoe we created feels like it connects those moments with the spirit of today’s alpine and nature enthusiasm. The design gives a nod to a bygone era, but the Salomon build quality represents the best of today.
